We are looking for a clinician who is passionate about providing individual therapy and other therapeutic services to under-resourced clients in a faith-based environment. We are in the

process of building a Therapeutic Services department that directly serves clients and empowers program staff to provide clinically relevant, holistic, trauma-informed care to men, women,

Job Purpose:

To utilize appropriate clinical therapeutic modalities for SDRM members

through individual and group therapy, class instruction, training, and triage  support

To maintain client case notes and manage other administrative responsibilities

To provide spiritual leadership for SDRM clients

To represent our Mission, Vision and Values and continue to grow as a follower of Christ

The Director of Therapeutic Services serves outside of any singular Program and acts as a resource for the Mission.

This position provides clinically sound triage assessment, therapy, leadership, training, and partners with clients toward achieving

greater emotional and spiritual wholeness as part of successful Program completion. This position reports directly to the VP of Programs.

Skills / Requirements

Education: Minimum Master’s Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Psychology or related field from an accredited institution.

Experience:  2 years full-time work experience with individuals experiencing homelessness, facing various addiction challenges, mental illness and/or dually diagnosed is preferred. Nonprofit experience preferred.

Skills and Abilities: Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook); typing (min 35 wpm); coordinate and/or direct a variety of complex tasks and assignments simultaneously and successfully; exercise good judgment and make sensible decisions; attentive to detail; prioritize effectively; effective oral and written communication skills; eagerness to learn and be trained; work both independently and as part of a team; provide information to public by answering questions and requests; regular, timely attendance.

Special License/Certification: Licensed Psychologist, LMFT or LCSW with the Board of Behavioral Sciences.
