To facilitate collaboration between MC clients (Haven of Hope as needed),

     Operations, and Thrift Store teams to ensure client growth and

     organizational success

To assist program staff in creating a productive, therapeutic, effective,

     professional job training environment to develop soft and hard job skills

To provide spiritual leadership for SDRM clients

To represent our Mission, Vision and Values and continue to grow

     professionally and spiritually

The Job Training Coordinator reports to the Associate Director of the Men’s Center and exists to facilitate appropriate Job Training opportunities at the Mission and all affiliated sites for the benefit of the client, and the optimal functioning of programs and the wider organization. The Job Training Coordinator is responsible for equitable and ethical care of all SDRM clients in their Job Training placement and works toward first facilitating client, then organizational, success.

 Education: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Ministry or related field from an accredited institution. 

Experience: Minimum 1 year full-time work experience with those experiencing homelessness, addiction challenges, mentally ill and/or dually diagnosed is preferred.  Nonprofit experience preferred.
